KEIGHLEY'S McDonald's drive-thru restaurant has reopened this morning.
The move is part of a staggered programme reopening some of the fast-food giant's facilities across the UK.
New measures are in place including screens at drive-thru windows, protective equipment for staff and social distancing in kitchens and service areas.
Also, fewer employees are working and there are reduced opening hours. The Hard Ings Road drive-thru will be open daily between 11am and 10pm.
A McDonald's spokesman said: "With restaurant teams adjusting to new procedures to enable safe working and social distancing, things may take a little longer – and high demand is anticipated.
"McDonald’s and its franchisees are working closely with local authorities and the police, and may determine that it is necessary to close drive-thru lanes if queues cause disruption at busier sites or put employees or customers at risk.
"As employees and the business adapt to a new way of working, McDonald’s would like to thank customers for their continued support and patience."
