IMAGES from lockdown across Keighley will be captured forever thanks to a Haworth photographer.

Lisa Holmes has been collecting pictures from local residents and community groups over the past few weeks.

Lisa, who has a studio on Main Street and lectures in photography at Bradford College, has also been taking her own 'Doorstep Portraits'.

She plans to compile them into an exhibition that will open later this year when people are again allowed to gather in groups.

This is in addition to her ongoing work developing a Keighley Photography Hub based in the old Marks & Spencer store in Low Street.

The hub will have a darkroom, studio and teaching facility open to local people, with photography workshops and programmes.

Lisa ran a community photography project last year as part of Keighley Arts and Film Festival called Windows Of Our World.

Lisa said: "I started my latest photography project in response to the Covid-19 lockdown and it aims to document the lives of people in our communities during the pandemic.

"This project has been supported by Bradford Council and has received a lot of support and engagement from local community groups.

"The vast majority of the images in the project are crowdsourced through the weekly photography challenges on YouTube. The public have been brilliant sending in all sort of wonderful images that document their lockdown experience.

"I have also run two online workshop as part of the project which resulted in more images being submitted.

"I have been taking Doorstep Portraits which is part of a project run by Keighley Healthy Living and the Bangladeshi Community Association, and will also form part of the Full Frame-19 project."

Images have been contributed by the Friends of Haworth Park, Cliffe Castle, Roshni Ghar, Keighley Parish Mission Outreach, Hainworth Wood Community Centre and The Shed.

Lisa said that although the initial project had ended, people could still email photographs to her. She added: "I'm especially keen to try and get more images from frontline staff and key workers.

"The can access all the weekly videos on my YouTube channel Lisa Holmes Photography or join the Facebook Group Full Frame-19 where they can get all the relevant information."Then in 64 words so the least
