NEW units are planned for an industrial corridor in Keighley.
Parkwood Street is home to a number of warehouse and industrial businesses, and now a planning application to build five new light industrial units has been submitted to Bradford Council.
The application, by Keighley-based Shillelagh Property, will see the units built on a vacant plot of land at the Parkwood House site – next to wood furniture showroom Pineoakio Furniture.
If approved, the development would create 439 square metres of new industrial space in the town.
There will be parking for 11 cars and five light goods vehicles on site, and a transport statement included in the application claims the development will not cause any highway safety issues.
A decision on the application is expected next month.
