I WOULD like to bring it to your notice that I have strong views on an unnecessary building being constructed on the green space formerly occupied by Keighley College.

Please can there be considerations made for using unoccupied buildings in the Airedale Centre?

Very central to the town are two extremely good-sized premises – the former Marks & Spencer and Beales stores.

Both premises are unoccupied and a very good location for the public to access services.

Why spend unnecessary funds on a new hub when there are extremely adequate existing buildings unoccupied?

The green space is much better suited to a park, trees, benches – all environmentally-friendly for Keighley.

Both Ian Dewhirst and Tom Moore would be better acknowledged for their services related to Keighley rather than another costly building.

Thank you for listening.
