BY THE wonders of science, Brainiac Live! is beating the coronavirus restrictions with a UK tour.

The team of barmy boffins are performing at outdoor venues during their Utilita LIVE From the Drive-In tour.

On offer to families is an action-packed hour of explosions, experiments and daredevil stunts with venues including Leeds East Airport on August 14.

The first was seen alive in 2008 and has since been on the road non-stop, laughing in the face of science to more than 400,000 people from London’s West End to Sydney Opera House.

Based on the popular science entertainment TV show, the live version is described as a breathless, fun and fact-filled exploration of the weird, wild and wonderful world of science.

Through a series of high energy experiments the show will delve fearlessly, and perhaps a little foolishly, into the mysteries of science. Expect exploding dustbins, supercharged spinning chairs and daring stunts.

Andy Joyce, Number 1 Brainiac and director of the show, said: “It’s fantastic to be able to get back to doing what we love best this summer and entertaining families with our much-loved show.

“There are only 300 spaces in each city so grab your deck chair, pack your picnic, find the car keys and join us for some live theatre!”

Live Nation is reimagining the live experience during a time of social distancing by allowing fans to enjoy concerts and family immersive events in a one-of-a-kind drive-in setting from their own private individual viewing zones next to their cars.
