A FORMER car dealership in Keighley town centre could be converted into a restaurant and takeaway if new plans are approved.

Bradford Council has received a planning application for the former Pentagon dealership in Worth Way, which sold Peugeot and Fiat cars.

The business shut in March 2018, and the premises have remained empty since.

But now a planning application to convert the 996-square-metre site into a restaurant/takeaway has been submitted by a C Bailey.

The application includes 14 parking spaces and a disabled parking space.

The proposed opening hours are 4.30pm to midnight, Monday to Thursday, 4.30pm to 1am Friday and Saturday and 4.30pm to 11pm on Sundays. A decision is expected in early November.
