THE Addingham Visor Army team got together to discuss the achievements over the last five months (socially distanced as always).
Sara Mortimer of the team said: “Its been a roller coaster of a ride but we all agreed we would do it again!
“We are delighted to announce that we have managed to donate £1761.62 to Airedale Hospital General Fund.
“Thank you to everyone who helped, supported and donated we couldn’t have done it without you.”
The group formed at the start of the coronavirus lockdown and raised thousands of pounds and sourced and distributed thousands of visors to Airedale Hospital and local GPs.
How the money was spent: £4671 on visors; £3752 on masks; £297 on gloves; £217 on aprons; £3961.62 on charitable donations to Sue Ryder Hospice, Marie Curie, Bradford, Airedale Hospital NHSFT , Addingham Primary School and preschool.
