POLICE have issued an appeal following a burglary at Cross Hills yesterday.
An intruder entered a house in Clayton Hall Road sometime between 7pm and 9.30pm.
A large quantity of jewellery and other items, including a red and gold carousel of figurines representing the animals of the zodiac, were stolen.
North Yorkshire Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
They would particularly like to hear from anybody who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area on the day, potentially cold calling.
