HERE we take a step back to August, 2013, when the then Deputy Lord Mayor of Bradford – Councillor Joanne Dodds – visited Haworth Riding for the Disabled.
She spent about an hour at the Vale Mill Lane stables in Cross Roads, accompanied by her consort and husband, Robert Dodds.
They met staff and volunteers, watched riding sessions, chatted to riders and their parents and were given a tour of the site.
Councillor Dodds described the facility, which at that time was desperately seeking funding with a lottery grant coming to an end, as “absolutely wonderful”.
