TIME is running out for Keighley-district amateur snappers to enter a Yorkshire Dales photography competition.
People have just until Friday, October 16, to take part in the contest – being run by the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust and Tennants’ The Garden Rooms.
Photos by selected finalists will be displayed in an exhibition next month.
The overall winner – as voted for by the public – will receive photographic vouchers worth £100 and a hamper, plus their photo will be included in the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust calendar.
Judges will also select 11 runners-up for inclusion in the calendar.
Lindsay Wallace, marketing officer at the trust, said: “We’re looking for photographs of the places, people and wildlife in the Yorkshire Dales that people really love. The photos will help us share this special place with others.”
