TWO Guiseley players have rejected new contracts, instead favouring a move to National League North rivals Hereford.

Kennedy Digie and Andrai Jones both decided that Edgar Street is where their future lies.

Former Kidderminster Harriers defender Digie (pictured) was already playing trialist games in pre-season for the Bulls, and leaves Nethermoor after just over a year of service.

As for Jones, the midfielder was at the Lions throughout the curtailed 2019/20 campaign and has had spells at Bury, Gateshead and Southport in the past.

Marcus Bignot and Russ O'Neill brought in Lebrun Mbeka before the pair's departure.

Mbeka featured in all of Guiseley's pre-season games and notched the only goal in their opening friendly win at lower league Thackley.

The Rotherham-born midfielder started his career with Sheffield FC and played for Tadcaster Albion last season.

Prior to that, he had spells at Ossett United, and a dual registration with Goole and Parkgate.

Yesterday, the club comfirmed that today's FA Cup second round qualifying game against Atherton Collieries would be available to watch free on their Youtube channel.

Streaming games will be the case for foreseeable after the National League published this statement regarding matches being played without any fans.

It read: "The 2020/21 National League season will commence on October 3 as planned with clubs playing ‘behind closed doors’ in compliance with the elite sport protocols."
