A SERIES of podcasts has been produced enabling people to enjoy district attractions from the comfort of their own homes.
The podcasts, produced by Bradford Council’s Visit Bradford, feature several areas – including Haworth.
Included are chats with local guides and experts, plus ‘audio walks’ which take people on virtual tours of attractions.
Officers from the council’s countryside rights of way service, museums, theatres and Visit Bradford participated in the podcasts.
Most of the recordings were done before lockdown but more recent content was created under Covid-secure conditions using face masks, social distancing and hygiene measures.

Councillor Sarah Ferriby, the council’s healthy people and places portfolio holder, said: “Well done to Visit Bradford for coming-up with such an interesting and innovative way to enjoy our wonderful district without having to leave the home.
“This fascinating series will be particularly useful for people who, for various reasons, are limited by the Covid-19 restrictions. I encourage everyone to listen to at least one of the podcasts and share their thoughts on them using the hashtag #VisitBradford.”
