A 54 YEAR old man was due in court today (Tuesday) following an incident in Settle on Sunday.
The man, who has not been named, is charged with three counts of assaulting an emergency worker and making threats to kill.
He is also charged with three counts of criminal damage to vehicles, possession of an offensive weapon - a long claw hammer - and possession of cannabis.
He was remanded in custody since Sunday and was due to appear at York Magistrates' Court today.
