ONE lane of the M62 had to be closed as officers dealt with a dramatic car crash this morning.
Officers from the West Yorkshire Traffic Policing Unit reported that one person suffered minor injuries when the dark coloured Audi crashed with a barrier at the side of the M62.
The accident took place in foggy conditions during rush hour between the Chain Bar and Birstall junctions.
With the assistance of Highways Yorkshire the motorway was kept open with just a lane one closed.
The road fully open shortly afterwards.
