A CHRISTMAS online auction is being launched to raise money for the One Voice for Animals UK Appeal.
The appeal – which aims to help small animal-rescue organisations struggling for funds due to the Covid-19 restrictions – includes Furever Loved in Keighley and Kim’s Animal Rescue, at Bingley and Crossflatts.
More than 200 lots – including jewellery, hampers, CDs, signed books and vouchers – will feature in the auction, at facebook.com/groups/OneVoiceAuction.
Bidding opens on Sunday, November 29 and closes on December 5.
Proceeds from winning bids on some lots will go directly to the rescue which donated the item. In other cases, the successful bidder can choose which cause to support from the appeal’s member directory – at helpanimals.co.uk.
The One Voice for Animals UK Appeal was set-up in April to support wildlife and domestic animal rescue centres and sanctuaries hit hard by the Covid crisis. It doesn’t receive Government funding or National Lottery money.
