A HOUSEBUILDER has donated goods to food banks across the region – including the facility at Keighley Salvation Army.
Harron Homes – whose developments include The Banks, in Silsden – has contributed items ranging from tinned and dried foods to hygiene products.
Food banks have seen demand for their services soar during lockdown.
Captain Josh Selfe, of Keighley Salvation Army, said: “Support from local organisations is more important than ever.
“We’re so pleased that Harron Homes has committed to supporting its local community in this way.”
Kelly Booth, sales and marketing director at Harron Homes Yorkshire, said: “We’re very fortunate to be in a position to offer some assistance, from discounts on homes for key workers during the pandemic to donating to local food banks.
“We are very glad to be able to contribute to our communities.”
