THE COMPANY behind Otley’s Garnett Wharfe development has donated Christmas party money to the Salvation Army.

Barratt Developments Yorkshire West made the donation from its festive fund to the Salvation Army in Bradford. The business had to cancel its Christmas celebrations this year so decided to put the money saved to good use.

Barratt Group and Barratt Developments Yorkshire West have given £1,500 - £750 apiece - to support the local Salvation Army’s work in providing food and support to those who need it most.

Managing Director of Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, Ian Ruthven, said: “This year we have seen how important it is to support charities.” Service Manager Major David Lees from The Orchard Salvation Army, Bradford, added: “We are grateful for the kind donation to help us support vulnerable people.”
