YORKSHIRE Water has launched its latest graduate programme.
The company is offering placements across five areas of the business – data science, operations, strategy and regulation, commercial and science.
Under the scheme, recent university graduates take part in a two-year development programme.
During the first year they participate in four placements across different fields and then choose a specialism for their second year.
Placements involve shadowing workers in their day-to-day roles at operational or office sites.
On completion of the programme, the graduates are supported to find a permanent role matching their strengths and skills.
Amin Daji, graduate and apprentice recruitment officer at Yorkshire Water, said: “We’re looking for people who have a motivation to learn and an enthusiasm to work within the water industry.
“The graduate scheme is a great opportunity for development and a really unique way to get to know the business.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming our next cohort.”
