KEIGHLEY Pride is staging a public meeting.
People are invited to join the meeting via Zoom or phone, from 7pm to 8.30pm on Wednesday, January 20.
Registration is free, at eventbrite.co.uk/e/publicmeeting-tickets-136098856343 or email keighleypride@gmail.com.
Volunteers from the group will give an overview of the organisation and outline its aims for the year ahead – including recruitment.
The inaugural Keighley Pride event took place in September 2019, organised by a partnership including LGBTQ+ groups, charities, businesses and Bradford Council.
An estimated 500-plus people attended the gathering, at Central Hall.
“Overall the feedback from the public was extremely supportive of an annual event being held in the town,” said a spokesman.
“Covid-19 forced the 2020 Keighley Pride event to go online, but nevertheless it was fun and entertaining. We are continuing to move forward in the hope to host Pride 2021 at Cliffe Castle in August.”
The group is currently recruiting a management committee.
Roles to fill include chairman, treasurer and secretary.
