TWO council-owned houses in the Keighley district are to be sold at auction next month.
The properties will go under the hammer in an online sale on February 24.
One Foster Park, Denholme, is a three-bedroom detached house with front and back gardens. It has an £85,000 guide price.
And 32 Carleton Street, Keighley, is a two-bedroom mid-terrace home, with a cellar and rear yard. It has a guide price of £45,000-plus.
The houses are among four in total listed by Bradford Council for the sale, being staged by Pugh Auctions. The others are in Saltaire and Barkerend.
As part of the council’s empty homes policy, the authority often takes ownership of long-vacant properties to bring them back onto the housing market. Homes are obtained by measures such as compulsory purchase orders or by agreement with the owners.
