PEOPLE across the district are being invited to share their photos of favourite spots that have helped the area ‘sparkle’ during the winter lockdown.

The initiative is part of the Sparkling Bradford campaign, delivered by organisations including Bradford Council and Visit Bradford.

Councillor Sarah Ferriby, the council’s executive member for healthy people and places, said: “Whether it’s a green space you never knew existed at the bottom of your road, your new home-schooling work station, or a restaurant or shop offering online deliveries that have been a lifeline or helped lift your spirits – we’d love to see your photos of who or what is helping keep Bradford district sparkling over these winter months.”

The best photos will be shared in a dedicated gallery on the Visit Bradford website and across social media platforms, plus will be included in this year’s Bradford and District Visitor Guide.

To enter, go to the Visit Bradford Facebook, Twitter or Instagram page using #sparklingbradford, with details about the photo. When taking photographs, current lockdown guidelines must be adhered to.
