A COUPLE of Embsay businessmen have helped out their local junior football club by sponsoring match and training kit.
Bob Middleton, owner of Genica Environmental, and Joe Walshaw-Scott, director of Crag and Co., have made the gestures to Embsay Juniors' under-7s.
The club has teams from the aforementioned to under-18 level. The younger sides play in the Dales Friendly League while the others compete in the Craven, Aire & Wharfe Junior League.
Genica Environmental is a infections prevention team not only covering sports athletes, but from hand foamers to full in house sanitation, UV-C air purification units and infection advice.
Mr Middleton said: "I am proud to sponsor Embsay juniors (match kit) because it’s a local village football team.”
Established in late 2020 and based in Embsay Mill, Crag and Co. are a firm of chartered accountants and tax advisers.
Mr Walshaw-Scott took the sponsorship opportunity to give something back to the community.
