AN online consultation has begun into parking provision for cycles.
Bradford Council is seeking people’s views on facilities to safely park bikes following a surge in cycling during lockdown.
Councillor Alex Ross-Shaw, the council’s portfolio holder for regeneration, planning and transport, said: “Bradford Council – in partnership with West Yorkshire Combined Authority – is delivering a wide-ranging programme of new cycling and walking measures, including pop-up cycle lanes and pavement extensions.
“We’re also improving cycle parking so are keen to hear people’s views about where additional parking would be most helpful. This is also something businesses or community organisations may want to consider to encourage people to cycle to their premises. I hope cyclists new and old take part in the consultation.”
