A KEIGHLEY funeral home has undergone an extensive refurbishment.

The works have been carried out at The Knowle Co-op Funeralcare premises, in Victoria Road.

Nick Riley, funeral service manager for Co-op Funeralcare in the Keighley area, said he was delighted with the results.

“Work has been carried out throughout the funeral home,” he said.

“The refurbishment included redecoration and the installation of digital cameras and screens in our service rooms, also new facilities for the deceased in our care.

“The works have extended to improvements externally – including a new patio area, which supports the fantastic work that gardener Steve Thorpe and his team have been doing within our garden of remembrance.”

Town mayor, Councillor Peter Corkindale, was invited to tour the new facilities.

He also helped officially reopen the funeral home.
