SUPERMARKET giant Morrisons has been giving away sunflower seeds to customers this week at all its stores – including the outlet in Worth Way, Keighley.
The company has offered the free packs to each shopper at the tills and included them with online orders.
Also, Morrisons community champions are working with schools, care homes and community groups to distribute packs and carry out planting.
The initiative was sparked by Rose Morgan, a community champion.
She said: “Everyone is emerging from lockdown in different ways and I wanted to give customers fresh hope and food for the heart by putting smiles on as many faces as possible.”
