WIGAN Warriors star John Bateman is back to help out former Hull KR man Mose Masoe, who suffered a serious spinal injury during a game last year.

The Bradford native's match-worn, size 9.5 bright pink Puma boots from Wigan's win over Wakefield on April 1 are on offer in a fundraising raffle.

All proceeds are being donated to the Mose Masoe Foundation to help the former Samoan international's family get through the many tests that his injury are now posing to them and also to potentially support other worthy causes affecting rugby league players.

It is a second attempt to raise money from the former Bulls star's boots.

They were initially placed up for auction following a high-profile media campaign, but after the auction winner sadly failed to pay for the item, instead, as many fans as possible are being given the chance to win the boots in exchange for a small donation.

For just £2 per ticket, any small individual contributions will collectively go a long way.

Wigan have said they would love to exceed the £2,550 that the original auction should have brought in.

The raffle closes at 3pm on Monday, May 10. UK delivery is included as part of the prize, or collection is available from Wigan.
