A HOUSEBUILDER with schemes across the Keighley district has reported a strong performance in the first four months of this year.
In its latest trading update, Barratt Developments says the reservation rate on its properties soared by almost 60 per cent compared to the same period last year.
And it reports the company is in a strong financial position, despite the challenges of the pandemic.
Barratt’s schemes locally include Vision in Keighley and Saxon Dene, at Silsden.
Ian Ruthven, managing director of Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, said: “We have seen strong demand for our high-quality, energy-efficient homes across developments in West Yorkshire – which is being further supported with the launch of multiple developments throughout the region over the next year.
“As construction activity has increased, our employees and sub-contractors have worked hard to maintain our high standards of quality and service. We are proud that for the 12th successive year, our customers have rated us as a five-star housebuilder.
“Our priority continues to be focused on keeping our customers and colleagues safe.”
