NEW governors have been elected to Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.
They include Anne Scarborough, who will represent Keighley.
A vote was held to appoint public governors for four constituencies across the district, plus two staff governors.
They will start their induction, including meeting members of the trust board, this month.
As well as providing a platform for the public to give its views, the governors – who will serve until April, 2024 – will be involved in appointing new non-executive directors and agreeing levels of remuneration.
Paul Hogg, the trust’s director of corporate affairs, said: “We’d like to thank everyone who showed an interest in becoming a governor and all those who voted.
“Our governors are a vital link to our local communities and ensure that we reflect the views of both the public and staff in everything we do.
“I’d like to congratulate the successful candidates who are joining the trust as public governors and I look forward to working with them.
“I would also like to thank those governors who have just stepped down after completing their term, for their valued contributions and commitment whilst they’ve been with us.”
