FIREFIGHTERS tackled a grass blaze this afternoon which sent plumes of smoke across part of Keighley.
Crews were called out to the incident, off North Dean Road, just after 3pm.
The firefighters used beaters and two hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze, which covered an area of about 100 square metres.
Crews from Keighley, Bingley and Illingworth fire stations attended and were at the scene for around an hour and 45 minutes.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
