A SECOND digital health hub is being launched in Keighley.

The facility will open at Highfield Community Centre on Tuesday (June 15), at 1pm.

Its launch follows the successful opening of a hub at the Sue Belcher Centre, Bracken Bank, in April.

“This second venue follows the success of the first and it will offer the same access to health services right in the heart of the community,” said a spokesman.

“People can use the hubs to access a wide range of health and wellbeing provision – such as requesting repeat prescriptions and GP appointments online and using the NHS app."

People are welcome to go along to the opening to learn more and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.

The new hub will then be open for drop-in use and/or booked appointments every Tuesday, between 1pm and 3pm.

To book an appointment, call 07759 396511.

All Covid safety regulations will be followed.

Organisations involved in the venture include Keighley Healthy Living, the Modality Partnership and Keighley College, as well as the community centres themselves.

The opening of the Sue Belcher Centre hub was a first for West Yorkshire.
