STAFF from two sister companies in Keighley put their best foot forward for charity.
Colleagues from Day & Co estate agents and JL Bailey insurance brokers took part in a 13-mile sponsored walk, from their Cavendish Street offices to Skipton.
Their effort was in aid of the locally-based It’s Worth Talking About mental health support group and Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice Manorlands.
An online fundraising page, at gofundme.com/f/sb6nf-sponsored-walk, has coined-in over £2,200 – more than double the original target.
Organisers said they were delighted and thanked everyone for their support.
Day & Co director, Chris Day, said: “It was a really good event.
“The weather was beautiful and the team spirit was amazing. Everyone stuck together, with team members even carrying injuries and still battling on!”
JL Bailey director, James Bailey, said it was "a great effort” by everybody.
And Paul O’Neil, a director of both companies, said: “The two charities have both helped people known to us, so it is great we can give something back to support them.”
