PEOPLE are being urged to put their best foot forward in support of Age UK Bradford District.
Staff, volunteers and supporters are taking part in a Walk of Ages on July 31.
The 24-mile fundraising walk will visit each of the charity’s six community hubs, including one in Keighley’s Airedale Shopping Centre, en route.
There is also a seven-mile version.
Nicola Wilson has been on two previous Walk of Ages events.
She said: “It is a fantastic event.
“It’s a fun and friendly day, enjoying some exercise whilst also getting to know Bradford district on foot and at the same time raising much-needed funds for the charity along the way!”
Anyone is welcome to take part – visit ageuk.org.uk/bradforddistrict or call 01274 391190 for more details.
There are also two virtual walks that people can tackle. One covers 9.6 miles and takes in some of the landmarks of Bradford district and the other is a longer walk around West Yorkshire – go to worldwalking.org/walks/explore/m4bd5g for further information.
