AN outdoor play afternoon is being staged in Keighley.

The event – at Marley playing fields on Saturday, August 14, from noon to 2pm – will include making boats from natural materials and sailing them.

Youngsters will also create journey sticks and friendship bracelets and have the chance to try Hapa-Zome, or leaf dye – making patterns on fabric using dyes extracted from plants.

There will also be practical first aid tips from GEM Compliance Training.

The River Worth Friends, supported by Keighley Big Local and the Aire Rivers Trust, will be hosting the day.

The outdoor play will be staged by All for Play, delivered by Get Out More CIC.
