LIVE music returns to Silsden Town Hall next month.

A busy autumn programme lined-up by the town hall Friends features local and internationally-acclaimed artists.

Kicking-off events is the Jon Palmer Acoustic Band on September 11, at 7.30pm.

The folk group has been described by Leeds Music Scene as “a cross between The Pogues and Bruce Springsteen’s Seeger Session Band – with a bit of Waterboys and Saw Doctors thrown in for good measure”. The band’s latest album, One Fine Day, has received glowing reviews in the music press. Tickets are £12.

On September 25, Sunderland-based blues band George Shovlin & The Radars will perform.

The band reproduces authentic early sounds, whilst also playing current blues and their own material. Tickets cost £15.

And on October 16, singer-songwriter Sean Taylor is appearing with his fusion of blues, Americana, folk, roots, spoken word and social commentary. Tickets to see Sean, who has performed across the world and released 11 albums, are £15.

All events will be Covid-secure and held in adherence with Government guidelines.

Refreshments will be available to buy during each gig.
