CROSS Hills-based Airedale Chemical has hired two new apprentices.
Madison Heigold has joined the firm as marketing assistant after recently completing a degree in media and communications at Manchester Metropolitan University. She is combining learning modules set by apprentice provider, VQ Solutions, with practical activities.
And Max Chadwick has taken-up an apprenticeship in lean manufacturing, which focuses on minimising waste and maximising productivity. He is helping to prepare products for distribution and organising transportation. He will complete the academic element of his course remotely.
Their appointment follows that of Lucy Sage – a safety, health and environmental technician apprentice – last year.
An Airedale Chemical spokesperson said: “Madison, Max and Lucy have made a real contribution to the company already and we’re looking forward to seeing how they continue to develop.”
