SUPER cars and super heroes will be converging on Keighley this weekend.
Beechcliffe Special School – at Green Head Road, Utley – is again hosting the popular annual event, on Saturday (September 25), after the gathering took a break last year due to the pandemic.
There will be an array of characters from the Star Wars ‘universe’, including Darth Vader. Iron Man is also scheduled to make an appearance.
Alongside iconic movie characters, there will be cars ranging from Corvettes to Lotus models – courtesy of groups including the Classic Corvette Club UK and North Yorkshire Performance Drivers. It is hoped a fire engine will also make an appearance in the afternoon.
A character parade will take place at 1pm.
Proceeds from the 11am-3pm event will go to the charity Friends at Beechcliffe, which buys items not covered by the school budget.
Admission is £2 for adults and £1 for children over 12. Under-12s free.
