SILSDEN Whitestar reclaimed pole position in the Craven League Premier Division on Saturday after putting last-placed Crosshills to the sword.

The Cobbydalers raced into a 6-0 half-time lead against their local rivals before scoring a further three after the interval, with Chris Wademan and James Wilson netting two goals apiece.

Four second-half goals, including an Andy Nicholson brace, helped Skipton Town First to victory at Bingley Town, whilst Josh Banks scored twice as Carleton Sports First maintained their unbeaten start with a 3-1 win at home to Cowling First.

The only other game in the division saw Barnoldswick First beat Grassington United First 3-1.

In Division One, Silsden Whitestar Reserves dispatched Grassington United Reserves to crown a fantastic weekend for the club, with Bradley Fay, Brad Lee, Aaron Vaughan, and Sam Stansfield all on target for the visitors in a 5-0 win.

Elsewhere, a Tom Kershaw double ensured that leaders AFC Crossleys finished on the right side of a six-goal thriller at Baildon Trinity, whilst two goals from substitute Max Foxcroft helped Trawden Celtic Reserves to a 3-0 victory against Ingleton First.

The match between Settle United Reserves and Addingham First was postponed.

Division Two leaders Padiham scored eight second-half goals as they maintained their 100% record with an 11-0 thrashing of Cowling Reserves, with Harrison Yeoman’s double hat-trick and Finlay Wade’s brace contributing the majority.

Goals from Sean Holmes and Elliott Shaw set Grindleton First on their way to a 4-2 victory at Crosshills Reserves, with two goals from Matt Bowker seeing the Barlick Barons beat Sutton Reserves 5-2.

Hellifield Sports won 3-1 at home to ten-man Otley Town 3rds, whilst the match between Skipton Town Reserves and Barlick Wanderers First finished goalless.

The game of the day in Division Three was at Weston Lane, with a Liam Finney hat-trick helping the hosts to their first victory of the season with a 7-1 thumping of Crossleys Reserves.

FC Keighley and Rolls Reserves recorded 5-0 wins at home to Sutton Reserves and Cononley Sports Club respectively, with four goals from Dan Bathers seeing Settle United 3rds also put five past iPlay 2nds.

Elsewhere, Rio Barresi-Marshall, Jonathan Sutcliffe, and Dan Cromarty all scored twice in the match between Otley Town 4ths and Carleton 2nds, with the hosts running out 5-3 winners.

Bingley Town Reserves also claimed the three points with a 3-0 win at Addingham Reserves.
