I TOOK my dog up to Keighley Tarn as usual and a friend, the person who every morning seven days a week cleans up the rubbish strewn all over the site, was there. The man deserves a medal
This time he found more 'laughing gas' bottles and most disturbingly he found that one of the waste bins had been uprooted from its base and thrown into the tarn.
If this now doesn't warrant CCTV cameras at the tarn, nothing does.
Maybe our councillors across Keighley could put pressure on Bradford Council to fit cameras. There is an internet mast at the quarry that CCTV cameras could be bounced off for a signal.
