AN Italian coffee shop has given another boost to a children’s charity.
Danchinos, based at Cullingworth Village Hall, has presented a further £6,000 to Compassion UK.
It takes the total now donated to the cause to £11,000.
The latest contribution is supporting a child survival project in Rwanda – where mothers living in poverty are being given access to healthcare and learning about healthy child development.
Danchinos raises funds by donating its net profits and through a collection box.
Danny Colecchia, for the coffee shop, says: “We are absolutely blown away that we have been able to donate more of our net profits to help these children living in extreme poverty.
“We are so grateful to our big-hearted customers who enable us to do this. While they eat, drink and socialise at Danchinos they are changing the lives of people they will never meet – it warms my heart!”
