HOUSEBUILDER Barratt has given a £1,000 boost to Keighley-based charity Living Lights.
The donation was made through the Barratt Foundation Community Fund.
Each month, the company presents £1,000 to a good cause.
Living Lights, a Christian outreach charity, provides a range of support to the vulnerable.
Its services include a mobile foodbank, home visits and a drop-in centre.
Founder and director, Patrick McDonnell, said: “We would like to sincerely thank Barratt Homes Yorkshire West for its generous donation. This funding will support us to carry out our vital outreach work with the most vulnerable in our local community, who are living in food and fuel poverty.”
Ian Ruthven, managing director of Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, said: “We are always looking for ways to support the communities in which we build so we’re thrilled that we were able to help Living Lights, which is doing amazing and important work.”
