A HAWORTH guest house – which was once the home of the village registrar – is up for sale.
Offers of around £895,000 are being sought for The Old Registry, in Main Street.
Owners Peter and Leanne Quinn, who bought the property in 2015, are selling-up to spend more time with their young – and growing – family.
The Old Registry has been a guest house for over 20 years.
It has eight en-suite bedrooms on the first and second floors, a 45-seat dining room and a self-contained apartment for the owners.
The sale is being handled by leisure property specialist, Fleurets.
Nick Thomas, for the company, said: “The Old Registry is a well-located guest house and restaurant – drawing healthy levels of trade from the private, leisure and tourist market, but with some commercial midweek room business.
“The current owners introduced and developed a successful dining trade, which caters for both residents and non-residents.
“This is an opportunity to acquire a solid business in a very popular village location.”
