A KEIGHLEY opticians is in the running for two prestigious awards.
The Specsavers store, in the Airedale Shopping Centre, is amongst the contenders in this year’s Opticians Awards.
It has been nominated for the Contact Lenses Practice of the Year title.
And store director Raj Gill has been shortlisted for the Covid Heroes Award, in recognition of his work running daily emergency clinics in Keighley and Bradford during the pandemic.
The awards ceremony takes place at The Grosvenor Hotel, in Mayfair, on Thursday, December 2.
It is the second time the Keighley store has been up for the Contact Lenses Practice of the Year honour – it was nominated for the title, together with Family Practice of the Year, in 2019.
Mr Gill said: “It speaks volumes about the hard work and dedication of all the team here at Keighley that we are once again up for the Contact Lenses Practice of the Year award.”
