HAWORTH Band is striking-up to celebrate a hugely-successful summer season and the return of indoor concerts.
Members will give a free performance at Haworth Village Hall, in Butt Lane, on Sunday, November 28, at 2pm.
The programme will include favourites from musicals, solo items and arrangements of The Old Rugged Cross and Highland Cathedral. A licensed bar will be open before and after the concert.
A band spokesperson said: “After lockdown restrictions eased, we were pleased to resume rehearsals. New players were welcomed.
“We wanted to celebrate the return of indoor concerts and a very successful summer. As the band is a registered charity, donations are welcome and collection boxes will be available on the day.”
In the run-up to Christmas, the band will be playing carols at venues including Morrisons and Asda supermarkets and the Haworth Brass Band Weekend.
