KEIGHLEY social housing group Incommunities has paid tribute to community organisations across the district for their work during the pandemic.
A ‘thank you’ event was staged to honour groups and venues – including the Sue Belcher Centre in Keighley – which have provided invaluable services such as distributing food parcels, collecting shopping and prescriptions and hosting wellbeing and mental health support sessions for residents.
Pam Chahal-Royal, customer resilience officer with Incommunities, said: “The ‘thank you’ event was held to show our gratitude for all of the support and essential services delivered to our customers and local communities.
“Centre managers and their teams go over and above the call of duty to help residents stay safe and well.
“This small token of appreciation was held to recognise their dedication and help show how valued they are.”
