A HOUSEBUILDER gave its support to a town's Christmas market and festive lights switch-on.
Barratt Developments Yorkshire West donated £500 towards the event, at Silsden.
The market – in the town hall – included crafts, festive treats and a chance to meet Santa.
There was also a series of performances, including a traditional nativity and carol service, ahead of the lights switch-on.
Duncan Turner – chair of Silsden Community Group, which organised the activities – said: "We were thrilled to get the festive season off to a magical start. We're really grateful to Barratt for its significant contribution, which helped to make our event a success."
Jake Helm, sales manager at Barratt's Saxon Dene development in Silsden, said: "We are fully committed to supporting the communities in which we build. It was fantastic to see so many people getting into the festive spirit, especially after being so restricted last year."
