Here is a list of the major supermarkets in Oldham town centre and when it is best to visit them:
Asda Oldham
Where: Hollins Rd, Oldham OL8 4JZ
Opening times: Monday - Saturday 7am - 11pm, Sunday 10.30am - 4.30pm.
Busiest times: Monday to Friday, 1pm - 5pm are the peak times for visiting Asda.
On weekends, it tends to get busy from 11am until around 2pm, so it is probably best to avoid doing a shop on a weekend if you want to avoid the crowds.
Quietest times: Mornings from 8am - 10am and evenings from 6pm are the quietest times.
Tesco Superstore
Where: Featherstall Rd N, Oldham OL9 6BW
Opening times: Monday - Saturday 6am - 12am, Sunday 11am - 5pm
Busiest times: Monday to Friday, 11am - 2pm is the busiest time for visiting Tesco.
On weekends, it tends to get busy from 11am until around 6pm, so it is probably best to avoid doing a shop on a weekend if you want to avoid the crowds.
