A KEIGHLEY performing arts school is staging its first show.

BOLT Academy was launched two years ago.

But then the pandemic struck, and the school has just recently been given the OK to go-ahead with its inaugural show.

Students will perform Cinderella Needs a Fella at Bingley Arts Centre next month.

"After two years we are delighted to be putting on the event," said Freddie Bolt, the academy founder.

"Our students are working very hard behind the scenes to make sure the show is one to remember!"

Performances will be from January 27-29, with two shows on the final day.

For tickets, call 01274 567983 or visit bingleyartscentre.co.uk.

BOLT Academy caters for students aged from three upwards.

It runs weekly acting, singing and dancing classes.

The academy's choir can be seen performing at many community events.

There is also a casting agency, and recent success stories include Noah Aspinall, who has landed the role of Lucas Taylor in popular soap Emmerdale.

Freddie added: "As we are deep into rehearsals for our panto we aren’t accepting new students until after the show, but if anyone would like to enquire then they should email info@boltacademy.co.uk, call 07889 975460 or go to boltacademy.co.uk."
