A COWLING outdoor education centre is staging a climbing competition for primary schools.
The Roses contest, being hosted by High Adventure, is open to entries from across Yorkshire and Lancashire.
Primary schools are invited to take along year-six cohorts to the centre, where teachers can choose the pupils – two boys and two girls – to represent their school in the finals, on Saturday, April 30.
There will be prizes for best boys, girls and school teams.
"This is a fabulous opportunity," said a spokesperson for the centre.
"Qualifying takes place on a date to suit the school."
High Adventure will provide transport to and from school.
