SUPPORT is on offer from a Keighley-based group to people who self-harm.
Scar Cover Up Freedom Fund (SCUFF) provides financial help to eligible people for tattoos to cover self-harm scars, and runs courses and workshops.
The charity was set-up by Jess King, after she experienced her own struggles with self-harm.
"I wanted others – who couldn't afford it – to feel the same freedom my tattoos gave me and to use my own experiences to raise awareness of self-harm and support others who are struggling," she said.
Since establishing the group, Jess has worked towards becoming a qualified mental health practitioner – enabling the charity to expand its aims.
SCUFF runs training courses in self-harm crisis management, and recovery workshops.
Jess adds: "Like lots of charities at the moment, we are struggling for funding and volunteers."
