A CHOIR that returned to action last October after the easing of pandemic restrictions is staging a spring concert.
KVU Singers – which began life as Keighley Vocal Union in 1906 – is holding the event at Christ Church, Skipton, on Sunday, April 3, at 2.30pm.
Admission is free, with a retiring collection.
The choir's musical director, Frank Smith, has included a variety of music – sacred and secular.
"As the concert is being held during lent he has incorporated excerpts from that well-loved oratorio Messiah," said a choir spokesperson.
"Other offerings range from the sublime Beatus Vir, by Monteverdi, to the frankly ridiculous Bare Necessities from the Disney version of The Jungle Book – so there should be something to please every musical taste!"
